Prayer Walking With The Salvation Army Flag

Check out an exciting new Facebook page about a practical and powerful way to share the love of Christ:  Prayer Walking With The Salvation Army Flag.  Just click this link:  Prayer Walking With The Salvation Army Flag.

In there early days of The Salvation Army they held many street preaching meetings — called openairs.  (It is much more difficult to gather a crowd on the street in 2012 than it was in the 1880s.)

However, by prayer walking with the “Blood & Fire” Flag you can create mobile openairs.  You can walk by people rather than waiting for them to gather around you.   Then you can tell them about Christ and pray with them.  It is amazing how effective this is.  Try it yourself.  If you need help and/or encouragement come to our Facebook page and learn more about it.  Prayer Walking With The Salvation Army Flag.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
