Participatory church is effective because it allows God to use all the keys on the keyboard, not just one kkkkkkkkkkkey!
Church members are like the letters of the alphabet — when they all participate together (as led by a wise, living hand), amazing communication happens.
–However when church attenders sit passively and let one letter do all the talking by himself, communication becomes quite limited.
Here’s an example: One letter doing it all: “Iii Iiiii iiii ii.”
Many letters participating: “Let Jesus lead us.”
When church is stuck on one kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkey, we greatly limit God. Perhaps we should let God have the liberty to use all His living letters! Let’s free the keys!
Experience a church meeting with free keys and every letter allowed to participate at The Salvation Army Berry Street, 225 Berry St., Nashville, TN 37207 on Sunday mornings at 10:45.
