What Best Fits Facts–Evolution Or Monotheism & Evilution

Which best represents reality? What best fits facts?

The sudden crash of supernaturally created life, caused by careless human choice? Or the spontaneous generation and gradual growth of self-manifested and self-animated life on earth?

Evolution – the continual, self-generating advancement and improvement of life on earth? Or evilution – the growth and development of evil in an individual or a society?

question mark

Evolution assumes that a blob of subatomic particles, smaller than a human hand (the ultimate black hole) came into existence out of nothing and at some point blew itself up and accidentally turned itself into enough atoms to create the entire physical universe. Later, on at least one planet, life somehow spontaneously generated itself from inorganic matter and somehow slowly developed itself into humanity.

Contemporary culture teaches that in an instant of time life suddenly appeared through an inexplicable cosmic accident and then gradually developed itself into millions of species of plants and animals and then into the human race, through a mysterious process of random, gradual evolution. It believes that life is in a better and more advanced state today than it ever has been in history and is continuing to improve.

But what if it is the other way around? Monotheism (one of the 3 forms of theism) teaches that a non-material, Living Being has always existed and that Living Being first perfectly created matter. Then He created life in matter and finally He created human beings.

Monotheism teaches that at one point in time, all forms of life crashed because of the careless human choice to exert independence from the supernatural Source of all life and existence.  That choice caused a great collapse in the condition of life and in the condition of the natural world. It released evil and evilutionary decline, distortion, and disease on planet earth. Because of human choice, lifeforms are in a far worse state today than they were in at one time in the distant past.

Which best represents reality? What best fits the facts?

Fact: Nothing never produces anything.

Fact: Life comes from life, not from inorganic material. It reproduces itself; it doesn’t spontaneously come from nonliving material.

Fact: Lifeforms feed on and/or are nurtured by organic material (material produced by living organisms–either their bodies and/or molecules derived from their bodies). For example, the soil that plants and bacteria feed on is full of organic material as well as the water that plants and bacteria feed on.

Fact: Life is a mystery. There is no scientifically satisfactory or universally accepted definition of life.

Fact: Natural selection is a deceptive name for random mutation, creating an oxymoron by implying that there is some degree of choice in random events.

Fact: The physical universe is mainly a mirage of energy masquerading as solid matter. It consist of atoms which are almost entirely made of empty space orbited at the speed of light by illusive bits of energy expressed as electrons. If all the electrons in the universe stopped orbiting, all the matter in the universe could fit in a human hand.

Fact: With our consciousness, we humans observe what we perceive to be external reality and we assume that reality exists independently of our awareness of it. However, our only proof of this independently existing material world is based upon our personal observations, the observations of other people, and the observations of machines we have created. And yet, modern science declares that the observed universe is real but the consciousness observing the universe is noting but a condition produced by the arrangement and function of matter and energy.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
