See a sea of God’s Spirit in ekklesia

Ekklesia lets you see a sea of God’s Spirit stirring ordinary people in waves of His presence.

Experiencing ekklesia will free a person captured by controlling compulsions and cravings by carrying them into the cleansing current of Christ flowing through a gathering of ordinary people.

The Greek New Testament uses the word “ekklesia,” but English language Bible translators replaced it with the word “church.” Ekklesia is more than church. The word “church” means a place or building set aside for religious worship, while the word “ekklesia” means “city council.” Jesus wants to build His city council and release a fresh, world-wide movement of of the sea of His Spirit! Will we let Him?

Church can cultivate ego, however, ekklesia (Christ’s city council) is an ego-free zone.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
