I’d dump my fear

Daily writing prompt
What is one thing you would change about yourself?

If I could change one thing about myself, I’d dump my fear and intimidation of personally talking to people about Jesus. I’m bold in talking about Jesus with my blog and my Facebook page, but when it comes to talking about Him with the people who I encounter throughout the day, I’m usually too afraid to do it.

Being free to talk to people about Jesus as openly and freely as I can talk to them about the weather has been a deep desire of mine for many decades. Yet, I’m still a long way from doing it.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
