I can think of three unique approaches to the Bible. They are instructional, constructional, and delusional.
Instructional: Most people see the Bible as instructional. They treat it like a book of religious rules, rituals, and regulations. No wonder they don’t find it fun to read. Even many Christians would rather have a professional pastor teach them about it on Sunday mornings. Their view of the Scriptures can be summarized with a funny B.I.B.L.E. acrostic: “Boring Instructions Before Leaving Life.”
Constructional: I approach the Bible as constructional. Daily reading it with an open heart inwardly builds me up in faith, hope, and love. It motivates me to joyfully seek first the kingdom of God and to surrender my will and my lifestyle to the presence of King Jesus reigning and directing me from within throughout each day.
Delusional: Some people even call the Bible delusional. They see it as a threat to their self-focused, desire-drive, and materialistic world view. They choose to ignore it altogether. When someone mentions the Bible to them, they quickly change the subject or in some cases argue against it.
How do you see the Bible? Is there another approach to the Bible that I neglected to mention?
Live Christianity as an ongoing experience with Christ. Don’t merely learn about the Bible through Sunday sermons.
Religion is based on human intelligence trying to understand information about God. The Bible shows us that Christ came to give people supernatural intelligence — direct relationship with and revelation from “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27)
We need to popularize supernatural intelligence (SI) more than artificial intelligence (AI). When people trust in and rely on God more than they trust in and rely on AI platforms, miracles happen!
