Got the guts to read the world’s most banned book?

Banned Books Week Challenge

Celebrate Banned Books Week by having the guts to read the most banned and burned book in history — the Bible. It’s still on fire in the 21st Century burning with the power of God and blazing in the hearts of those who are courageous enough to read it!

Run with this challenge: Read something in the New Testament (the last 1/3 of the Bible) for at least 5 minutes every day (without missing a day) for 21 days. If you can garner the guts to do this, at some point in the 21 days, God’s flames will ignite in your heart. Any takers?

God can even lead you to books in a secular bookstore.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
