The world’s most exciting sport!

What is the most challenging and exciting sport in the world?

–Playing follow the leader with the living, resurrected Jesus Christ!

However, it’s not the world’s most popular sport.  Most people haven’t even heard about it.

People have heard about the religion named Christianity and they have heard about the historical Jesus; but they haven’t really heard that Jesus is alive and active in the 21st Century and challenging every person to follow and obey Him in day-to-day life.

So how do you get started in this sport?  Simple.  Listen to Jesus speaking in your heart, read His “words in red” in the New Testament, and find a team of passionate Christ-followers to spend time with.   Then begin to do what Jesus tells you to do and say what He tells you to say.

It’s that simple.  But, whew, it is the most challenging thing I’ve ever attempted in my life.
“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.  Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.”  –Paul of Tarsus

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
