Just Say No! (Is that enough?)

Just say go!  “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel.”

Just say grow!  “You must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

Just say lo!  “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the of the world.”

Just say flow!  “Out of your inner most being shall flow rivers of living water.”

Just say so!  “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.”

Just say low!  “God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

Just say slow!  “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”

Just say show!  “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

Just say glow!  “Let your light shine before men.”

Just say woe!  “Woe to you when all men speak well of you.”

Just say know!  “That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.”

Just say no!  “Say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions.”

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
