Ordinary Christ-followers are like geodes. Geodes look like ordinary rocks, but inside they are full of beautifully colored crystal. When everyday believers share from their heart, their inner beauty shines forth.

Traditional church (focused on one man’s preaching) allows little or no opportunity for ordinary believers to speak from their heart. So their inner beauty remains hidden.

However participatory church allows anyone one present to open up and speak out of their love for God. The results are always amazing. “Christ in you, the hope of glory,” radiates from everyday brothers and sisters in Christ.
