We desperately need a living, active, present God!
–A God who isn’t bound to a program run by a man.
–A God who can speak through anybody He chooses, not just through those with religious position, power, or authority.
–A God who fills ordinary people with overwhelming love, excitement, courage, and boldness.
–A God who breaks the bonds of human control and releases spiritual spontaneity!
–We need the God of Pentecost who sent 120 fearful disciples rushing courageously out of hiding and boldly into the streets shouting His praises, ready to die for Him!
-That God still exists! But we have bound Him by our fears, by our programs, and by our systems!
–Will we let Him freely move among us?
–If not, faith will fade away.

Having church without the active, directive presence of the living, resurrected Jesus is like taking a shower without any water.

However, when church has no agenda or program except for the living, resurrected Jesus, Jesus took the wheel runs with it, as various people are prompted to share anointed and inspired insights and Scriptures.

Perhaps limiting a church service to only one man’s message is like limiting a sports team to only one active player.
Agree or disagree?

The popular, modern concept that “Nothing produced everything,” makes no sense.
–God put us here and we will all answer to Him; so perhaps we could allow Him to lead a simple church service.

—Do we have the God who we need or a god that we want?
–Do we have the God who is real or a god that we have created?
–Do we have the God who controls us or a god that we control?
–Do we have the God who guides our thinking, or a god that we think for?
–Do we have the God who gathers us, or a god that we gather?
–Do we have the God who leads us, or a god that we lead?
