Ekklesia sews Christ into the center of the meeting, not a preacher!
–Perhaps we need to pay attention to these words from Bible scholar William Barclay, written in 1962:
“So long as Christ is in the center of the life of the individual and of the church, personal ambition and partisan rivalry can never even begin to appear, but when Christ is removed from the center and when any man’s ambitions and policies become the center, then inevitably and certainly, personal competition will invade the church.”

The Bible says that Christ-followers are “competent to instruct one another.” (Romans 15:14)
–So, perhaps we could allow them to instruct one another in church services, instead of insisting that they just sit so-so and listen to a professional minister every Sunday.
