Mental apps have terms & conditions

Be careful what apps you allow to be installed in your psyche! Don’t accept everything that pops up in your mental app store. When a tormenting app pops up in your mind, don’t agree with its terms & conditions.

If you don’t like some of the thoughts that run in your brain, uninstall them. A mind is a terrible thing to fill with malware. If an app is disturbing your psyche, remove it. Don’t complain or brag about it!

Cravings, habits, & compulsions are apps that are installed on your subconscious. Don’t let self-destructive mental/emotional apps run in your life. Uninstall them! The Holy Spirit works as anti-malware, cleaning up malicious programming in our psyche. If we focused on God as much as our phones, we’d be powerful spiritual warriors. The risen Jesus can remove the tormenting apps that want to run in your heart.

As an app makes obvious an app writer; creation makes obvious a Creator. Some people deny or ignore the harmful apps that are running in their mind. Why? Because they don’t want to be accountable. That’s the same reason some people deny God — because God means accountability & limits on self-gratification.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
