No Tattoo Can Do What You Want It To

Daily writing prompt
What tattoo do you want and where would you put it?

“The Lord Who Is the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:18)

He’s here!
God the Spirit
Is here with me.

He’s there!
God the Spirit
Is there with you.

He’s everywhere
And anywhere.
Experience
His glory now!

Let Him change you
A little bit
Throughout each day
From glory
To glory.

Let God the Holy Spirit tattoo your heart. Divine life is essential. Without divine life religious order is merely human programming, structure, and control. It’s superficial like a tattoo. Christians are supposed to be led by God the Holy Spirit, not by human opinions and desires disguised as divine order.

A person who calls himself or herself a prophet needs to read the Bible and notice that prophets were usually:

* Ignored,
* Criticized,
* Insulted,
* Blocked,
* Persecuted,
* Arrested,
* Beaten,
* Run out of town,
* And even killed.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
