Winner Words / Loser Language

Words are powerful. All the words that we hear, read, think, and say, have an impact on our life.

We can choose to hear, read, think, and say words that pull us down or words that build us up. Our culture bombards and brainwashes us with loser words. Take a few minutes today and pay attention to the words that are entering your mind.

Evaluate those words. What percentage of them are winner words: uplifting, encouraging, wholesome, kind, helpful, or positive? And what percentage of them are loser words: depressing, discouraging, vulgar, unkind, harmful, or negative?

When we have a significant percentage of loser language in what we hear, read, think, and say; we have a hard time avoiding self-destructive behaviors. Achieving a happy, successful lifestyle becomes very difficult.

In our contemporary environment, anyone can hear, read, think, and say loser words. They abound. However, to hear, read, think, and say winner words requires the greatest courage and effort.

Do you want to think winner words? Here are a few winner words that you may not come across in your enviornment today.  Check out these quotations:

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
