Someone is naming all the days after the day set aside to give thanks to God.  Let’s see, there’s Black Friday, and Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday.  But what about the Sunday after Thanksgiving Day?

I have a name for it.  Reason-For-The-Season Sunday.

Maybe we should act like the Shepherds that we read about in the Bible and in the Christmas carol, Silent Night, Holy Night.  “Shepherds quake at the sight (of the newborn Christ).”

In the middle of the night, last night, the words “Shepherds quake at the sight,” came into my mind and then I remembered the above quotation from Catherine Booth. I heard “Post both on Facebook.”  But I thought to myself: “I don’t know where that quote is.” Immediately a book with a green cover popped into my mind.

When I woke up this morning I found the book with the green cover and got it off the shelf. I thought “I’ll never be able to find that quote.” (It is a thick book.) But then the thought came to my mind: “I’ll probably open the book and there will be the quote.”

I  opened the green book and the first thing that I saw was the above quotation. I sat in awe for awhile. How’d that all happen? It had to be God.
