What Involves Various People Speaking But Only 1 Person Talking?

What involves several people speaking but only one Person talking?  A Spirit-led, participatory church meeting.

It is truly amazing.  Various people spontaneously (as led by the Spirit) share words of encouragement, insights, testimonies, Scriptures, prayer requests, spiritual gifts, prayers, and even songs.  The remarkable thing is that the many people speak with one voice — the Voice of the Holy Spirit, who acts as an invisible conductor guiding the meeting according to His will.

Experience many people speaking and one Person talking for yourself at:  The Salvation Army Berry Street Worship Center, 225 Berry Street, Nashville, Tennessee, 37207 on Thursday nights at 6:30 and Sunday mornings at 10:45.

One Voice speaking through many people is nothing new.  God has been leading this type of worship gathering since the early church.  (See I Corinthians 14:26).  Many Christian groups through out church history have worshiped this way including the First Century church, the early Quakers, and the early Methodists in their class meetings.
