It’s not easy to weather stormy weather.  Dark clouds, wind, hail, floods.

There is a story about a man who built his house on sand.  When the rains came and the winds blew his house collapsed into ruble.

However, another man built his house on a rock.  When the winds blew and rains fell, his house stood firm and stable.

Jesus said that anyone who hears His words and doesn’t do them is building his house on sand, but the one who hears Jesus’ voice and obeys what Christ says is building on a rock.

Will you stand in your storms?

Thunder roaring out,

Rain falling down,

Even in the storms of life,

God’s still around.

Run to Jesus the rock

And build on solid ground.
