You Can Hear The Voice Of The Spirit

We all need to hear it;
The voice of the Spirit.
There’s no need to fear it;
All true hope is near it.
He that has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says . . .

— It’s easy to hear the Bible and miss the Spirit.
” . . . in condemning Him (Jesus) they fulfilled the words of the prophets that are read every Sabbath.” (Acts 13:27)
— It’s easy to hear a preacher and miss the Spirit.
People often say “good sermon” yet walk away unchanged.
— Yet when you hear and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, speaking in your own heart, your life will never be the same.
— Church is about creating an environment where people can personally hear and obey the voice of the Spirit.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
