How To Have Genuine Revival & Spiritual Awakening

How to Prepare The Way of The Lord (And Make Room For Revival & Spiritual Awakening in Your Life And in Your Church)

1) Get tradition out of the way. (“You nullify the word of God by your tradition.” –Jesus.)

2) Get pride out of the way. (“God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.”)

3) Get sin out of the way. (“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.”)

4) Get self out of the way. (“Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Me.” –Jesus.)

Human proclamation is painfully inadequate to transform people without the perceived presence, prompting, and power of the living Jesus Christ.

Help us prepare the way of the Lord in Nashville, Tennessee, at The Salvation Army Berry Street on Sundays at 10:45 am. — 225  Berry St., 37207.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
