The Amazing Process of Grace

“God loves you, but not the dumb things you do.”  (Does anyone never do dumb things?)

The dumb things we think, say, or do separate us from God. But God offers us an intimate relationship with Him through the process of His grace:

1) His sacrifice (Christ died to pay the dept of separation caused by your dumb deeds.)

2) His conviction (A deep awareness that you have misbehaved and have offended God’s holiness.)

3) Repentance (Your genuine sorrow for, asking His forgiveness for, and turning away from your dumb thoughts, words, and deeds that offend God.)

4) Growth in grace (Your ongoing increasing in closeness to and obedience to God through the process of grace.)

Pride can prevent you from living in God’s grace. “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
