What’s on tap in your kegs?

What’s on tap in your kegs?  2 kegs are on tap in your heart and ready to roll through your life. One keg contains love, joy, & peace — the other keg: anger, misery, & envy. What’ll you have?

Should we tap into our desires, preferences, opinions, feelings? Or should we tap into the Spirit?  “Walk by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other.” –Paul of Tarsus (Galatians 5:16-17).

Life really is a simple, clear choice.”  A man reaps what he sows (taps). Whoever sows (taps) to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows (taps) to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” –Galatians 6:7-8

With which flow will you go?  The living water of the Spirit or the stale sensations of the flesh?

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
