Who to follow?

People who intentionally deny and/or distort the truth to manipulate others shouldn’t be trusted. If you want to follow someone who won’t lie to you or let you down, follow the living, resurrected Jesus Christ!

When Christians (or churches) support injustice and/or wrongdoing, they aren’t following the risen Jesus. They are off track.

You can’t follow self and Christ at the same time because they lead in different directions. If you refuse to be reconciled to and obey God while you’re alive, you shouldn’t count on death to change that.

The words you say (and post), and the way you use them, tell others what kind of person you are. Words and their meanings matter. It’s wise to ban profanity and other destructive words from your mind and mouth.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
