When life gives you demons

When life gives you demons, call on the living Jesus to come to your aid. Run to Jesus and strongly reject the demons and their tormenting thoughts. We can be rescued from demons and their deception, and given fresh new perception, by the living Jesus.

Jesus is my Savior. He is continually calling me away from harmful and destructive influences. Jesus wants to make your soul whole, not just for Heaven, but so you can have joy now.

There is a Savior from anger, hate, cruelty, and disfunction. His name is Jesus. Jesus doesn’t offer a business deal, signed by a repeat-a-prayer, but an ongoing relationship with Him to set us on fire.

To follow Jesus, we need to be aware of His presence so we can let Him lead us. A person who believes that he has life figured out, feels no need for a Savior.

The living Jesus wants to free your from your mess, not to condemn you for making it. People who boastfully refuse to admit their mess, feel no need to humbly confess.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I co-lead a non-traditional expression of the body of Christ in Nashville based on open participation and Spirit-led sharing. We long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia" that is available in Kindle & paperback @ http://amzn.to/2nCr5dP
