One of my daily goals is to be kind in all my thoughts, words, writing, and actions. I don’t always achieve it, but I always want to. Another goal is to notice when I have said, done, or written something unkind and quickly apologize. If I have ever been unkind to you in any way, please forgive me.
The freedom of speech is misunderstood. The right to bear arms doesn’t give you the right to shoot people for disagreeing with you. Freedom of speech doesn’t give you the right to blast someone with insults just because they disagree with you.
I love to express what I feel called to say. Writing helps me to open up my heart and do that. I hope that what I write helps you in some way. I hope it makes you think, encourages you, or inspires you. If it challenges you or you disagree, I hope you know I respect your right to a different point of view.
I have an even greater goal than kindness. My number one goal is to listen to, follow, and obey the risen Jesus more and more every day so that people can see Him living in and through me and experience His presence, power, truth, and love in all that I say and do. I believe pursuing that goal is the reason I am alive.
I have a priest who helps me with my goals. I go to Him regularly for confession, comfort, advice, and a listening ear. I would highly recommend that everyone go to my Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ. Learn more about Jesus as priest in the Bible in Hebrews, verses 2:17, 3:1, 4:14, 5:5, 7:24-25, 8:1, and 9:12.

I really appreciate that you put kindness as the “non-negotiable” in your goal setting.
Thanks for giving me your encouragement. The world today desperately needs more kindness.
