3rd time through this month
Reading the Book of Acts
How’d those Acts believers
Turn the world upside down
While today we spiritually waste away
Brainwashed into applauding
All sorts of ungodliness?
1 thing I noticed —
Acts believers were told:
“You have filled Jerusalem with your teaching.”
Perhaps we should fill facebook, twitter,
All the other social media,
Our jobs, our churches, our schools,
Our conversations, our texts, and our lives,
With testimonies and proclamations
Of what God has done in our lives?
What ya think?

When you read about Acts Christians and then look at American Christianity, you see that they are not the same thing. There is not much Acts Christianity around nowadays. However, Acts Christianity is still available to all, if we will humble ourselves, deny ourselves, seek God with our whole heart, & follow & obey Jesus in our daily lives. Acts Christianity started with only 120 people and grew into millions of Acts Christians. God will do that again if more of us speak out & live the truth & turn from religious pride, to the living resurrected Jesus Christ.
