Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.”

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!

Hi Steve, You make a very good point to consider and think about. What can a person say? How real is God’s Word? God has so many promises, but also warnings. As I search for him with all my heart– as he promises–He is there, He reveals his ways, He lets me know what He wants me to do, He corrects me, he teaches me, He is Merciful, Gracious, Loving, Powerful, IT’S NOT A JOKE….He gives us all a choice…For me and my house–from experience–I will serve THE LORD!

Thanks for the question, mike. I went back to the article on the Relevant facebook page and my link doesn’t make sense. So I took it down.
