How to hear with your inner ear

inner ear

The Voice on NBC (Now Believing Christ) — Don’t miss the new season!

Listen to the Spirit
In your inner ear–
In your heart
And your conscience.
Let Him make the Bible
Burn inside you
And come alive
In your daily life.
The still, small voice
Is speaking to you now.
Be still and know
God’s presence
And power.

The presence of God
Flowing through the people of God
When they gather
In Jesus’ name
And freely share
With one another
What they hear
In their inner ear,
Fulfills the words of Jesus
“He that has an ear,
Let him hear
What the Spirit says
Unto the ekklesias.”

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!

I love the ending: “Unto the ekklesias.” It says so much about Christ and His Body.
