Who’s Jesus?

Who’s Jesus? O, for a clearer view of the real Jesus.

I woke up this morning with these thoughts about Jesus going through my mind and heart:

“Jesus is the Maker of all things — Emmanuel, God with us! Realizing who Jesus is — that realization is the rock of revelation that turns dry bones into living stones so Jesus can build them together as His assembly and be the Head of His Spirit-led body. Christ, the Creator-man, living in you is infinitely more powerful than any religious activity. Let Jesus, the Creator-man, personally show Himself to you. You don’t have to die to meet your Maker. Christ will interact with you right now! Jesus, the Creator of the Universe who became a human being, is now reaching out to you.”

Receive Him as your literal Lord and Master. Enough religious lecture-hearing, Christians need Spirit-led lab work. God didn’t become the man Christ Jesus so we can hear weekly religious talks about Him, but so we can continually interact with Him and stay ever connected to Him heart-to-heart.

The term “incarnation” has nothing to do with a car or with a nation. It refers to the Creator of the Universe becoming a human being named Jesus. The Crafter of Creation became a man to directly relate to you without the need of religious systems, priests, or programs. Jesus is God who became and continues to be a human being!

“Man’s Maker was made man that He, Ruler of the stars, might nurse at His mother’s breast; that the Bread might hunger, the Fountain thirst, the Light sleep, the Way be tired on its journey; that Truth might be accused of false witnesses, the Teacher be beaten with whips, the Foundation be suspended on wood; that Strength might grow weak; that the Healer might be wounded; that Life might die.”

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
