Happy 4th of July. Read this if you truly want a great America.
The way to release greatness in America isn’t the way we are being told. The Bible’s way to heal a country and raise it to greatness is quite different than the political way. It’s based on two letters — “if.” That “if” hangs on the behavior of the people who claim to be lovers of God.
For a country to experience genuine greatness the people in that country who identify themselves with God have to do 4 things: 1) humble themselves, 2) pray, 3) seek direct, intimate, heart-to-heart connection with God, and 4) turn away from their “wicked ways” such as self-righteousness, arrogance, and all their sins including those that they think they are hiding from people. (2 Chronicles 7:14) If the people who say they are God’s people refuse to do those 4 things, nothing else will make their country great.
Are you personally ready to begin doing all of those things throughout each day? If not, perhaps we should stop talking about greatness.

In the past, many people left Europe because life there had become polluted and people could no longer even agree with what churches preached and did.
In the New World they thought they could build a life according to the Wishes of God and live in peace with others and share faith with each other. However, many people quickly settled and even massacred the local population. Many of those murderous immigrants now believe that they are the true Americans and want not to allow migrants any more into ‘their country’, while they themselves are descended from immigrants who had tried to build a good life.
Lots of those jelling to Make America Great Again are claiming to be Christian, but in no way are they following the Law of Love of Jesus Christ.
The majority of the MAGA people instead of following Christ are clinging onto a wicked man who misuses his power and who is not afraid to kill people as if they are nothin or scum. His talking is not a way how Christians should be talking, though lots of Americans fall for his words and follow him as litle chikens follow their mother.
They shout “May God bless America” but forget that their America is not following the path God has set forwards to be followed by His people. Perhaps they would be better to read what happened with the People of God every time they went away from God. Best would they do again what their forefathers did, who came from Europe: reading and studying the Bible (= the Old and New Testament) and not just hanging on some quotes taken out of context.
Yes. We all need to become more Christ-like and more obedient to His living presence.
