It’s easy to get stuffy in a world where everything (including us) is made of stuff. Our bodies are made of cells that are made of molecules that are made of atoms that are made of sub-atomic particles. It’s all stuff — and when we die the stuff that is us goes back to dust. But is there anything beyond stuff; beyond the matter that makes up the universe?
Sure there is. There is intelligent communication conveyed in the DNA of living creatures. The communication isn’t a physical part of the DNA any more that the message of a printed page is a physical part of the book. In both cases the message is conveyed by the matter of the DNA & the page, but the message, itself, is non-material intelligence.
Stuff is full of encoded intelligence that is not from this material world; but from another dimension. Life itself is non-material. It can be described and identified; but it can’t be produced from non-life. Life uses and inhabits matter, but life is beyond matter.
This realm beyond stuff is spirit. Jesus called it “the kingdom of God.’ This realm is not just for life after death. It is accessible to us now. To quote Jesus: “The kingdom of God comes without observation because the kingdom go God is within you.” He taught His disciples to pray to God: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Life is encompassed about with ultimate reality from another dimension — the rule of God. We can ignore and/or resist that realm. We can attempt to explain it away. However, the immaterial matters of the heart guide us all. This other dimension moves and impacts us humans deeply (usually quite by surprise; often at the strangest times.)
We sense (or feel) a conviction or a calling, a drawing of destiny, a pleading of purpose. Deep cries out unto deep as the other dimension speaks to us.
Do distractions disturb and drown-out the other dimension’s demonstrations in our heart? Or do we drink deeply of that dimension? It is up to us . . .
The kingdom of God is calling for you! Will you choose to seek it — first? Or will you choose to stay stuck in stuff?
