Good Sermon Or Burning Words?

When people hear a sermon they often go up to the preacher and say:  “Good message,” or “Good sermon.”  However when the early disciples heard the word, they said:  “Didn’t his words burn in our hearts!”

When Peter preached on the streets of Jerusalem to thousands of people, they were “cut to the heart” and cried out “What shall we do to be saved?”

Would you like to hear words that burn in your heart?  Come to The Salvation Army Berry Street and listen as various people, as led by the Spirit, talk about how the living God is working in their lives.  Their words are changing lives in Nashville.  Come and see for yourself:  Sun. @ 10:45 am. &/or Thurs. @ 6:30 pm. — 225 Berry St., 37207.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
