Make room for Jesus to

Make room for Jesus.
Unblock His way
Then go and do
Whatever He may say.

When there’s
No room in the inn-
Er part
Of your heart
For the risen Jesus
To reign as King and Lord,
Any Christianity expressed
Is only nominal.

Sermons without discipleship produce a sentimental Christianity with no follow-through. Let go and let Jesus disciple you daily.

Make room for Jesus to:

  • Drive away all your darkness.
  • Be your King and Lord.
  • Capture your heart.
  • Demonstrate the reality of His presence.
  • Release rivers of living water in your heart.
  • Lead you moment by moment with the Holy Spirit.
  • Take control of and lead a church service.
  • Show you your sins.
  • Empower you to speak the truth in love.
  • Use you to demonstrate His love to others.
  • Give you the strength to bless those who curse you.
  • Make the Bible come alive.
  • Fill you with the fruit of the Spirit.
  • Set you free from bondage.
  • Liberate you from self-focus.
  • Operate the gifts of the Spirit in and thru you.
  • Cause you to rejoice when you’re persecuted.
  • Make you honest and trustworthy.
  • Help you love your enemies.
  • Fill you with joy.
  • Replace your pride with humility.
  • Make you spiritually hungry.
  • Lead you out of your boxes.

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
