Creatively Changing Christmas Songs To Celebrate Christ More

Have you ever noticed that a great many Christmas songs have little or nothing to do with Jesus Christ.  Since Christmas is when we celebrate His birthday, I thought it might be good to tweak some Christmas songs and Christmas carols and make them more focused on Christ.

So, straight from Music City, I am creatively changing Christmas songs to celebrate Christ more.  Can you identify the original song or carol?

* Have Yourself A Happy Birthday, Jesus

* Oh Mighty One Of Bethlehem, We Worship You Today

* Grandma Got Right With Jesus In The Rain, Dear

* I Saw Mommy Worship Jesus Christ, On Her Knees With Tears Of Joy, Last Night

* Joy To The World, Lord You Have Come, I Now Receive You King

* Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, Jesus All The Way; Oh What Fun It Is To Worship Jesus Everyday, Hey

* O Cross Of Christ, O Cross Of Christ, How Forgiving Your Mercy

* Jesus Christ Rock

* Holy One, Awesome One, I love You, Yes I do; Jesus, Lord At Your Birth

* Jesus Christ Is Coming To Town

* I’m Beginning To Love You More, Lord Jesus, Everywhere I Go

About Steve Simms

I like to look and think outside the box. In college I encountered Jesus Christ and I have been passionate about trying to get to know Him better ever since. My wife and I long to see the power and passion of the first Christ-followers come to life in our time. I have written a book about our experiences in non-traditional church, called, "Beyond Church: An Invitation To Experience The Lost Word Of The Bible--Ekklesia." If you need encouragement, search for: Elephants Encouraging The Room and/or check out my Amazon author page. Thank you!
