Church can be like a full 747 sitting on the tarmac with no fuel
Having church without the active leading of the Spirit is like sitting on the tarmac in a full 747 with no fuel. A plane full of people won’t go anywhere without fuel. Neither will a church without the supernatural working of … Continue reading

Inauguration Day Thoughts: When you can’t see the light, it may be behind you.
Meanness & kindness are both boomerangs. Which will you throw? Persistent kindness melts away meanness. Try it and see. Returning kindness for hostility; is disarming. When you don’t see much kindness; break the tread & do something kind! Kindness & joy … Continue reading

Seeking self-satisfaction is an endless whirlpool of “me, my, and mine” — a downward spiral, swirling with discouragement, depression, and despair. The search for self-fulfillment is a misery making myth that sucks the life out of people, throwing them into a raging stream of self-sedation and mindless medication. The only rescue is the recovery of self-denial — passionately following a cause that is greater than self — losing yourself in serving others.
